Your company may want to license a webinar platform and create a regular webinar series. Or you may wish to work through an organization such as edWeb.net, which provides the platform and help in marketing the webinars.
If your budget doesn't allow for either of those options, let's talk about other creative ways to get webinars about your company and product. Multiple different webinar series need great presentations every month, and those webinars are typically archived and available for a year or more afteward.
We can help you strategize where you should be visible and how your company might offer something for these sites.
Webinars also may be presented to state associations, graduate classes, such as teacher ed classes in ed tech, ESL, science, etc. depending on the product. During summer school sessions, you could have several webinars a week that can quickly impact multiple possible users of your product. And now that parents are working with your products from home, you may need to develop some parent-oriented webinars as well.
Let's talk about your goals, your product, and how to maximize the value of your budget using webinars.

Seventeen-minute interview of Dr. Rita Oates at FETC 2019 touches on multiple topics.
#1 in a series for Buffalo Public Schools on grant writing, this 15-minute segment gives an overview of all eight sessions in the series. The content here is customized to Buffalo issues, funders, etc. (Rita customizes each workshop or presentation for the local audience.)
Ferdi Serim interviews Dr. Rita Oates on Global Collaboration for a teacher training project. She provides examples from epals.com for this professional development project.
Rita keynoted the Eduteka conference in Cali, Columbia by Webex on May 31, 2013. She had recorded the presentation in advance, but they were unable to play it. There was a horrible storm in Miami that day, so her internet connection was flaky. So she did the presentation live, and someone in the audience made a video and posted it on YouTube. The introduction is by Claudia Piedrahita de Uribe, the director of Eduteka, who wanted to encourage more use of collaborative learning, project-based learning, and use of ePals.
Last part of the presentation, with questions following.
In this brief commercial for an all-day workshop at BLC15, you will get an idea of the content. Rita can do a one-hour, three-hour or all-day version of this workshop to help schools fund their edtech dreams. Rita has presented grant writing workshops at ISTE, CoSN, FETC, and many regional and state conferences, including NHSTE and Mississippi.
Webinars need to be part of your communication and business strategy. They can introduce your company and products, help educators get ideas about how to use your products, and provide training to help your new users become power users who want to renew their contract with your company.
Dr. Oates can present the webinar, be the host, or work with users to help them become powerful presenters. She has more than five years of experience in webinar strategy and execution. Three of her webinars were among the top 10 for the year for edWeb.net in 2013, the most for any single host or group.
Let us help you plan how to maximize the value by offering value-add webinars, overview or getting started webinars, and even brief (30-min. or less) webinars to help fill the calendar with quality content for your audience.
Rita was invited by CDW-G to give several webinars for the EducationFunding community through edWeb.net starting in 2014. You can get the slides and see the archived webinars and related documents from these links:
